Carolyn is from Driving Park and saw a need for positive activities for children and neighbors in my area, and she decided to do something about it.

Yvonne is on disability and has a hard time keeping up with maintenance and repairs of her home.

After receiving training through United Way’s Project Diversity, Ervan joined the boards of several nonprofit organizations in the community, including Godman Guild.

Michelle, from Hilltop, knew she needed to earn her GED if she wanted to really change her life for the better.

MArk-TeaMeet Mark and Tea

Mark is a member of several boards dedicated to health and wellness, including United Way’s Health Impact Council and Nutrition & Fitness Results Committee.

Tea loves being active and participating in sports like softball, basketball and soccer. She gets to do all these things and a lot more when she goes to the YMCA’s after-school program.
