Champion of Children, the community's comprehensive voice focused on helping children and youth succeed, held its 20th Anniversary 2013 Signature Event on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 5:30-8:000 p.m. This history-making event featured a conversational interview with Geoffrey Canada, creator of the Harlem Children's Zone. The program concluded with the presentation of the 2013 Champion of Children Individual Award and Nonprofit Organization Award, followed by a reception.
