In 2008, Traci (TJ) Johnson was Elected Committee Woman of Ward 75 in Hilliard, Ohio. In the community she plays a pivotal role in organizing neighborhood associations and promoting public safety in her community. Her passion for people and volunteerism has become a life's mission. Agencies that assist the Blind, Homeless, Seniors, Recovering Alcoholics and Children encompass her 20 years of volunteerism.

Most recently Traci (TJ) Johnson is a member of the American Red Cross, Disaster Action Team. The Disaster Action Team are called to house fires. Many people don't realize that when the local fire department responds to a house fire, the American Red Cross of Greater Columbus also responds to the call. The Disaster Action Team volunteers are on call 24-hours a day, seven days a week, often leaving behind family and friends to help meet the emergency needs of those affected during the fire, providing shelter, food, clothing and medications.
