I’m Scott, from Worthington. I’m a CPA and the owner of Fair Consulting.

I was interested in serving on a board, but I never felt passionate enough about an organization to get involved. That all changed when Columbus Speech & Hearing (CSHC) diagnosed my 5-year-old son with apraxia. While he was receiving services from the organization, I witnessed firsthand the tremendous passion this organization has for its clients. I wanted to give back—and I wanted to pay back in appreciation for what they have done for my son.

Since January of 2010, I’ve been serving on the board for Columbus Speech & Hearing. There is a tremendous sense of pride in being able to help in some small way. Through its early detection and early intervention programs, CSHC is able to provide outreach services, screenings, evaluations and therapy. These services can be life-changing for the children and their families.

I give back where my passion is. It’s extra special if you can find that passion. That’s how I LIVE UNITED.
