For over 10 years, Battle of the Bands has been one of The Ohio State University’s most anticipated annual philanthropic traditions! Today, it has evolved into a diverse showcase of talented Ohio State and Columbus Metropolitan Area musical artists! This high-energy, exciting event is anticipated to attract an audience of over 1,000 students and is sure to be a highlight of the 2011 school academic year!
Romophos is a sophomore class honorary at The Ohio State University built upon the core values of scholarship, leadership, and service. Founded in 1932 by a group of likeminded, high-achieving students, Romophos quickly transitioned from a small all –male academic society to an elite co-ed organization striving for the betterment of its members, school, and community.
Over the past 78 years Romophos has provided leading second year students with the opportunity to make a real impact on The Ohio State University. Currently, Romophos hosts two main charitable events throughout the year, an annual Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament in the Fall and Battle of the Bands in the Spring.
