United Way of Central Ohio Welcomes Deanna Stewart as Senior Vice President of Resource Development

United Way of Central Ohio welcomes Deanna Stewart to the United Way family as the Senior Vice President of Resource Development.
Stewart comes to United Way from The Ohio State University where she was Assistant Vice President of Corporate and Foundation Relations. She joined the university in 2003 as a Senior Director of Development in the John Glenn School of Public Affairs. Prior to that, Stewart had a long career at AT&T Corporation where she rose to the level of Vice President.
“We are thrilled to have Deanna join our team,” said Janet E. Jackson, President and CEO of United Way of Central Ohio. “She is dedicated to our work and to achieving concrete results. Her skills and expertise will help us realize our potential in fundraising and further strengthen our community.”
Stewart received her BSBA in Management from Longwood University and her MBA in Business Marketing from George Washington University. From 2002-2005 she was an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Franklin University.
Active in the community, Stewart is a founding member of United Way’s Women’s Leadership Council; founding member and former President of WELD (Women for Economic Leadership and Development). She currently serves as the Chair of WELD’s External Advisory Council; and is a member of the YWCA Women of Achievement Sponsorship Committee.
