The Clintonville-Beechwold Community Resources Center is a community-based social services agency that brings people together to help individuals and families build upon their strengths. It promotes self-sufficiency while respecting individual worth, rights and dignity, and creates a greater quality of life in the community. A youth service program offered by Clintonville-Beechwold is the Kids Club. The Kids Club is a no-cost child care program that operates at Clinton Heights Lutheran Church. It was created to provide working families and single parents of low-to-moderate incomes a safe, structured option for their children's after-school time. The program serves children in grades K-5.
Volunteer Opportunity
Volunteer with the Kids Club by helping during the after school program at Clinton Heights Lutheran Church. The Kids Club has an average daily attendance of 60 children during the school year and the summer months. School-year activities include structured homework time, targeted tutoring for at-risk students, nutritious snacks, supervised, unstructured playtime, crafts, computers and organized club activities including the Drama Club, the Gardening Club and the History Club.
