St. Vincent Family Center provides mental health prevention, intervention and treatment services to children and families in Columbus and throughout the state of Ohio. SVFC provides specialized behavioral health treatment resources and a system of support to children and families who have emotional and behavioral challenges.
Volunteer Opportunity
There are many ways you can volunteer your time with St. Vincent Family Center!
Tutors work with individual or small groups of children on academic areas in which the children need additional help such as reading, math and spelling.
Mentors work with students individually or in groups. These interactions may include playing games, making crafts, housekeeping, reading together or sharing.
Laborers help with maintenance, upkeep and other physical plant needs of St. Vincent Family Center.
Entertainers/Teachers provide enrichment activities for our classrooms. These may include performances, demonstrations and lecture discussions on topics of interest to our students.
Children's Party Hosts civic groups or businesses coordinate, plan and execute holiday or special occasion parties for our students.
