The YWCA Family Center offers safe accommodations and child care for families in Franklin County experiencing an immediate housing crisis. The Family Center offers support for up to 50 families a night, and links families with supportive services such as job counseling, case management, housing placement assistance, child advocacy and more. With the help of staff and volunteers, the Family Center continues to meet the goal of helping families obtain more permanent housing in twenty-one days.
United Way of Central has a long history of supporting the YWCA in its commitment to eliminate racism and empower women.
