Join neighbors and other community volunteers on Saturday, May 7, to plant flowers, pick up litter and learn about new and renovated housing in Weinland Park.

May 7, 2011 schedule:

  • 9:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. - Volunteer teams begin two-hour shifts to plant flowers, prepare community gardens and pick up litter.
  • 9:30 – 2:30 p.m. - Visit sites throughout Weinland Park where more than 70 homes will be renovated or newly built.
  • Noon to 1 p.m. - Lunch for volunteers served at Godman Guild.
  • 12:30 p.m. - Brief program at Godman Guild.
