Central Community House is a neighborhood settlement house focusing on youth and family programs, and neighborhood support and development initiatives. Central Community House offers a variety of programs designed to strengthen family, neighborhood and community life within an identified service area that includes most of the southeast quadrant of Franklin County.

Volunteer Opportunity

Volunteers will assist youth in the After School Program, Community's Promise. Students are K - 8th graders. Volunteers are needed to assist with basic reading skills, such as listening to youth read aloud and basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Volunteers must have graduated from high school. The preference is that volunteers are passionate about youth, love reading and value the importance of children.
