Community Research Analyst
Organization HandsOn Central Ohio
Job Description HandsOn Central Ohio seeks a Community Research Analyst to organize, summarize and classify information on government, nonprofit, and select for-profit organizations for entry into the HandsOn Central Ohio resource database. The database is used by 2-1-1 Information and Referral Specialists to connect callers to the organizations that provide the requested services, by the general public (via the website) and by professionals conducting research or seeking information for their clients.

Job Requirements Requirements:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Science, Library Science, or related Social Service discipline. Qualifying experience in database management (preferably Refer7 software). Call center experience a plus, but not required. Excellent communication skills, the ability to organize, and demonstrated ability to understand and apply database management. Must be able to work independently and be an innovative thinker. Ability to accept close review and editing of work and have a commitment to work in a team environment. Valid Ohio driver’s license, insurance and access to motor vehicle on a daily basis are also required. Strong knowledge of web based applications is required.
