October 12, 2011 - Homeport by Columbus Housing Partnership – Study Table Volunteers

Homeport by Columbus Housing Partnership operates in the belief that a decent and affordable home is the cornerstone of family life and a healthy community. Through our Homeport Programs, we provide quality, affordable homes and services to low and moderate income households in Central Ohio. Through our activities, Columbus Housing Partnership is a partner in building vibrant communities and enhancing the lives of its residents.

Volunteer Opportunity

Our Community Life Programs are in need of volunteers to assist with study table, homework help and daily group discussion with our teenage residents. Volunteers with experience in legal, law enforcement or education experience is preferred but not required.

Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday from 2:30pm – 5:30pm however you can choose a schedule that is best for you. We are able to be flexible so if you are only available one day a week that is fine! This will be a long term opportunity, at least through the end of the school year.
