Due to technical issues with the 2010 online Letter of Intent application, United Way of Central Ohio is extending the application deadline until 5 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2008.
Our technical support is working to resolve these issues. United Way staff will also be contacting applicants that are experiencing difficulty with the system.
We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your patience.
A Message to Our Community:
We invite non-profit organizations in central Ohio to partner with United Way to measurably improve people's lives and strengthen our community around the following community results:
• Young children enter kindergarten physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively prepared to succeed
• Youth graduate from high school well-prepared for additional learning and productive careers
• People achieve financial stability
• People overcome barriers to accessing health and wellness services
• People maintain health nutrition and physical fitness
• People live in safe neighborhoods
• People live in safe and decent housing
• People in crisis have access to emergency food, shelter and financial assistance
• The community is prepared to respond to disasters and emergencies in a coordinated and
comprehensive way
Funded programs will use a strategy identified by United Way to achieve a community result and will use a prescribed measurement tool to demonstrate success.
The UWCO website includes information about UWCO's new program investment process and next steps for interested organizations. Please review the materials, register to attend and orientation session, and contact UWCO if you have questions.
We are excited about the opportunities to work together to create measurable, sustainable community impact.
Sincerely,
