Alvis House

Alvis House provides direct services to more than 3,000 men, women, young adults and children each year, and impacts tens of thousands more. Agency programs include residential halfway houses, job readiness training and placement assistance, vocational assessment and educational assistance, mental health services, substance abuse counseling and education, corrective thinking therapy, individual case management, life skills education and referral services. Agency services have expanded to include working with the families of incarcerated individuals and with individuals who may be at risk of entering into criminal behavior. Alvis House also operates suppported living and residential programs for individuals with Mental Retardation and other Development Disabilities.
