In the few months we’ve been leading the 2011 United Way of Central Ohio campaign as co-chairs, we’ve learned so much about the needs in our community and the many ways that everyone who gives, advocates and volunteers through United Way is improving lives and building a stronger community.  It’s a great honor and we’re energized every day by the work we’re accomplishing together.

More than 80,000 people gave during last year's campaign.  Those generous donors are supporting strategies in the interconnected areas of education, income, health and home that are moving  our entire community forward.  If you are one of those donors, we want to offer our sincere thanks. And while 80,000 is an impressive number, it’s only a fraction of the people we could reach.

United Way has made is easier than ever to run a campaign in your workplace.

We’ve heard from companies across central Ohio that conducting a United Way campaign is a fun, creative and effective way to bring their teams together, while helping to meet the needs in our community for today and tomorrow.
