Amethyst, Inc. provides a wide range of services centered on addiction recovery, family stabilization, wellness, and economic stability. Amethyst serves women with and without dependent children and families in the process of reunification. Services associated with long-term treatment include: assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, educational classes, intensive case management, health and wellness services, assistance with education and employment, family-centered services, and trauma services. Specific programs within Amethyst’s long-term program include: the Rapid Stabilization Program (RSVP), Integrated Tobacco Treatment, Supported Employment, Bridge to Care, Connections: Family-Centered Services, and SummerQuest. Amethyst’s STAR program (Safety, Treatment and Recovery) provides gender-specific out-patient treatment services to women not participating in the long-term residential program. STAR services include: assessment, treatment planning, group and individual counseling, and case management.
